A Simple Handoff

Our Outsource Post Production Process

We operate as a quiet extension of your studio. You outsource the editing work and keep creative control, the client relationship and every deliverable under your own brand. No onboarding calls, no software to learn.

01

Share footage and references

Send camera files, audio, music direction, LUTs and two or three of your own past films. Include your day timeline and any must-include moments — the private vow exchange, the grandparent who flew in. Upload via Drive, Dropbox, Frame.io or WeTransfer.

02

We review and quote

We confirm scope, pricing and delivery timing before any editing begins. NDA signed on request, transfers encrypted.

03

Your dedicated editor cuts

You get one assigned wedding editor, not a rotating freelancer pool. They study your back catalogue before touching a clip, then organise, sync, shape, color match and sound finish the film.

04

You review the first cut

Leave timestamped notes. Three revision rounds are included on every package, and nothing ships until you sign it off.

05

Deliver under your brand

Receive the master and the project files with no watermarks, no Eterna Edits branding and no contact with your client — ready for your own delivery.

What moves a quote outside these prices: raw footage beyond 10–12 hours · more than three cameras · final film length · rush delivery · footage that needs stabilising, color matching or audio repair · extra deliverables such as ceremony, speech or vertical cuts. Combo packages are available — ask for a fixed quote before any work starts.

Outsourcing FAQs

Questions About Outsourcing Wedding Video Editing

You upload your raw wedding footage and a style guide, Eterna Edits assigns you a dedicated wedding editor who studies your existing work, and that editor cuts, color grades and mixes the film to your specification. You review a first cut, request up to three rounds of revisions, and receive the finished film with no watermarks and no branding of ours, ready to deliver to your couple as your own work.

Eterna Edits prices per film rather than per hour. A 6-minute cinematic highlight starts at $249, and a 10-minute highlight, a 20-minute short film or a 60-minute documentary edit each start at $329. New studio partners get 20% off their first five projects. Quotes move outside those published prices when raw footage exceeds 10–12 hours, you shoot more than three cameras, the footage needs repair, or you need rush delivery.

Standard turnaround is from 7 days, and longer films run 7–30 days depending on footage volume and complexity. Those windows are counted in business days from when complete footage and a style guide arrive, and we confirm your exact delivery date in the quote before any editing begins.

No. Every project is delivered as white label wedding video editing: we never contact your clients, never watermark a frame, never publish your weddings without written permission, and deliver using the file naming you specify. NDAs are signed on request and all transfers are encrypted, so the couple’s experience is you from first enquiry to final delivery.

That is what the style guide step exists for. Your assigned editor reviews your back catalogue, works from your LUTs, music preferences and pacing notes, and stays on your account across the season so the look does not drift between films. Three revision rounds are included on every package to close any remaining gap on the first few projects.

A freelancer is one person, so their availability, rates and continuity are all single points of failure — most acutely in peak season, when every studio wants the same editors. Outsourcing to a studio instead gives you a dedicated editor backed by a team, flat per-film pricing that does not surge in June, and cover if your editor is unavailable.

If you shoot fewer than about eight weddings a year the edit queue rarely compounds, so the per-film cost is harder to absorb. If editing is the part of the craft you love, outsourcing solves a problem you do not have. And if you cannot yet describe your own style, write the style guide first — no partner can guess what makes a film yours.

Yes. Premiere Pro project files ship with every delivery on all four packages, so your edit is never locked to our systems. If you later want to re-cut a film in-house or hand it to another editor, everything you need travels with the final delivery.

Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro. Deliveries default to Premiere Pro project files unless you specify otherwise in your style guide, and footage from Sony, Canon, Blackmagic and DJI cameras is handled as standard.

Transfers are encrypted and NDAs are signed on request before any footage moves. We do not publish client work to our own portfolio or social channels without written permission from you, and your couples’ footage is never used as marketing material.

Yes — there is no minimum volume and no retainer. Most studios start by sending a single wedding to test the style match before committing a season, and the 20% new-partner discount applies from that first project onward.

Yes. Eterna Edits works with wedding videographers and studios across the United States, with a sales office in Kalispell, Montana and the editing studio in Ahmedabad, India. Delivery windows are set so that US studios receive cuts within their own working week.
